Started this painting with a totally different theme in mind. I had drawn a dancing girl in the midst of a village surrounded by country music - kinda scenario.
Started this on a Thursday morning where the mood was gloomy and the dancing girl did not come through as i had envisioned. So, took a break.
This painting was in my thought every passing moment - and this was stressing me out - the painting not turning out as i wanted it to be was in my mind every waking moment.
Finally on Saturday, i decided to give this painting another go :)
and the above is the result.
Although it is not what i had initially envisioned, i was very satisfied and happy with the output. The entire day, the calm feeling that i got when i looked at the painting filled me with a sense of elation. i was one happy person.
AND THEN THE THOUGHT CAME - this is a true depiction of life - YOOOO!!!!!
God has also created and recreated our lives in the same way ;) We start with an idea in mind which then takes a different turn and then the end is absolutely different from what we had initially thought. BUT, the end is always pleasant - an unexpected result which always gives life a new direction and meaning.
True that! Nothing else gives satisfaction as much when we get what we had aimed for. Cheers!
